Be careful of those who wish to control

They will tear you apart, they won’t make you whole

They are not about you, they are all about self

Love for others is placed on a shelf

They will use you, they are not your friend

To have you surrender is what they intend

Oh how sad, it will break your heart

If you don’t turn your back, say goodbye, depart

Don’t be afraid if once you see

OH NO! they are just using me

To make friends with others whose hearts are true

Who you know you can trust who truly love you

Just walk away shake the dust from your feet

Don’t hurt them though… just retreat!!!!
