IT TAKES TIME IF EVER

It takes time if ever

 to forget someone you lost

If you loved them so much

 and didn’t count what it cost

If you gave them your heart

 and gave them you soul

If you were connected with Jesus

 and he made you whole

You had a three stranded cord

 that is so very strong

That till death till you part

you will always belong

Jesus will comfort you

 and heal your pain

Only he…

 can make you new again

So reach out your hand

 Let him wipe your tears

Let him comfort you

 and hold you near

Somewhere some time

He calls come be mine

Come to my resting place
